On May 14, 2025, the Turkish Language Teaching Center (TÖMER) at Ibn Haldun University organized a cheerful spring picnic in Istanbul’s Belgrad Forest with the participation of students, academic staff, and administrative personnel.
The day began with engaging outdoor games including jump rope, volleyball, sack races, and egg-and-spoon contests. Students had the chance to relax in nature, enjoy themselves, and momentarily leave behind the stress of daily life. Throughout the picnic, refreshments were served, creating a warm and social atmosphere where students could connect with one another. The event also offered a valuable opportunity for them to practice their Turkish in a natural and relaxed setting. The spring picnic added a joyful social dimension to the Turkish language learning experience at TÖMER and helped strengthen the bond between students and the university community.
