The 2025 Turkish Language and Culture Summer Camp, organized by Ibn Haldun University in collaboration with the Almaty Education Attaché of the Republic of Turkey, began with an opening ceremony on August 5, 2025. The camp, which began with the participation of 121 students and 25 teachers from Kazakhstan, encompasses a two-week intensive language and culture program held at the university's Başakşehir Campus.
The opening ceremony began with introductory and informational sessions where students and faculty gathered. The camp's purpose, operations, and general rules were explained in detail. At the end of the program, students were divided into eight classes named after Istanbul's historic districts. They met with their teachers and were directed to their first classrooms.
During the two-week summer camp, in addition to an intensive curriculum where students will have the opportunity to develop their Turkish language skills, they will visit historical and cultural sites in Istanbul. As Ibn Haldun University TÖMER, we wish our guest students a productive, educational and unforgettable camp experience.
