The Turkish Proficiency Exam consists of four main sections: reading (3), listening (2), writing (2), and speaking (2). The exam duration is 3 hours. It can be administered both online and in person.
The exam results are determined based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). Accordingly, the proficiency levels are defined as follows:
A1 – A2 (Basic Level)
B1 – B2 (Intermediate Level)
C1 – C2 (Advanced Level)
Upon completion of the Turkish Proficiency Exam, candidates receive an official certificate indicating their level of Turkish proficiency.
Exam Fee: 150 Euro (Reservation is required to take the exam.)
To take the proficiency exam, students must first call the IHU TÖMER office to schedule an appointment. Students are required to be present at least 15 minutes before their scheduled exam time.
