On April 17, 2024, İHU TÖMER hosted the "Turkey Days" event, spotlighting the Aegean Region. Our students plunged into the enchanting culture and unique flavors of the Aegean, embarking on a genuine adventure. The event included informative presentations about the region, along with a tasting of 'Boyoz,' a traditional local delicacy. As we delved into the unique words, phrases, and accents of the Aegean, our instructor Uğur Kaya performed a poem with themes of Izmir. Videos highlighting the rich history and natural beauty of the Aegean complemented an exhibition of the region's handcrafted arts and crafts. This delightful day allowed our students to deeply explore Aegean art. We rounded off the event with a fun and educational prize-winning Kahoot quiz!
